Laura Quilter's Feminist Science Fiction, Fantasy, & Utopia page is the most comprehensive web site about feminism and science fiction. It has author biographies, reviews, and a discussion list.
The James Tiptree, Jr. Memorial Award is the first major award for Science Fiction to be named after a woman. Every year, the Tiptree Award jurors not only pick winners for the best science fiction "that explores and expands gender roles," they publish a short list of fiction that is worth your attention, usually with some very interesting reviews. All the awards and commentary are on the Tiptree web site, which makes it an invaluable resource for anyone who is interested in well-written, thought-provoking SF.
Flying Cups and Saucers is the first official publication of the secret feminist cabal. It says so right on the cover. It makes some of those hard to find Tiptree Award winning and short-listed stories much easier to find. You can also read Don Webb's review in Tangent Online.
WisCon has turned into the feminist cabal's family reunion. It's also a very nice, well-run science fiction convention, in a great town.
If you're going to be in Seattle next weekend, we'll see you at Potlatch. Potlatch is a small, friendly, SF convention about books and writing.
